Build 299
- Give yourself a maker name
- Now you can name yourself with a name and an emoji. When you share a Riffmix or someone tunes in to follow you, they see your name instead of a jumble of letters.
- Remixes show who made the original
- When you remix a Riffmix someone shared, it wears their maker name — curved right around the spinning record, on your wall and on the deck. Credit where it's due.
- Spot your own Riffmixes at a glance
- Your own Riffmixes stay clean and unmarked. The ones you remixed from a friend carry that maker's name — so one look at your wall tells you what you made and what came from someone else.
- A cleaner place to browse and share
- Broadcast got a fresh look: your published Riffmixes and the makers you follow now share one page. Tap any Riffmix to hear it right there — swipe between a maker's Riffmixes, play, and scratch — then swipe back to keep browsing.
- Publish and share in one tap
- Hit Publish on a Riffmix and the share sheet comes right up with your link — send it wherever you like, no extra stops.
-
Build 282
- Open a Riffmix right where you are
- When someone shares a Riffmix with you, tap the link and it opens inside the app — spinning, playing, and ready to scratch. The whole thing, the second you tap.
- Love it? Remix it
- Turn any Riffmix you're sent into your own. One tap on Remix drops it onto your deck as a brand-new Riffmix — play it, build on it, and make it yours.
- Tune in to the makers you love
- There's a new knob on your wall. Give it a twist to follow your favorite makers, so their newest Riffmixes are always a tap away — right next to everything you've shared.
- Undo, even after you walk away
- Leave a Riffmix and come back to it later — undo still steps back through your last few versions. A change you slept on isn't stuck anymore.
- No more "You made two"
- Making a change and undoing it could pop up a screen asking which of two copies to keep. That's fixed, and the screen is gone for good — your Riffmixes just keep up with you across your devices.
-
Build 269
- Share your Riffmix with a link
- Publish a Riffmix and get a link you can text or post anywhere — whoever opens it sees it spin and can play and scratch it right in their browser, no app needed.
- Find your shared Riffmixes anytime
- Everything you've published now lives in one place — open it up to grab a link again or take a Riffmix down, without having to re-share it from the deck.
- Send and preview Riffmix files
- Hand a Riffmix to a friend over AirDrop, Messages, or Files — and when one lands, you can see it, play it, and scratch it right there before you open it.
- Add emoji stickers to your Riffmix
- Sticker a Riffmix's label to show what's inside — a guitar Riffmix can wear a 🎸. Pick from hundreds, then drag, resize, and spin them into place.
- Bumpier bass
- Kicks and low notes now land with a fuller sub, so your Riffmix sounds bigger — especially on speakers with real low end.
-
Build 236
- Your studio follows you across devices
- Your Riffmixes, signatures, and voice takes now sync between your iPad and iPhone over iCloud — start something on one and pick it up on the other. Edit the same one on both and Riffmix keeps both versions so nothing is ever lost.
- Four new instruments
- Saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, and harmonica join the sound picker — hold the instrument word to play them.
- Start a new Riffmix your way
- Hold the + on the wall to begin a Riffmix already set to voice, notes, beats, capture, or import — no extra taps.
- A better signing pad
- Draw over your existing ink, undo any single stroke, and your signature now looks the same everywhere it appears.
- Volume and speed on the floor
- Press and hold a Riffmix's label on the floor to reveal two dials — set its level and play it faster or slower.
- Every plaque shows what's inside
- Riffmixes on the wall now picture their real tracks, so a voice recording looks like a voice recording — plus a round of visual polish across the deck.
